Newborn Baby Booties

When I was pregnant with my third son I wanted a pair of booties that would fit him when he was tiny. Seems like all the patterns I’ve found are too big until they’re a couple of months old at least. I guessed on the size by measuring the newborn hospital footprints from my older kids. These fit my baby nicely straight home from the hospital but my neice who is 3 months old still swims in them a bit lol.

Newborn Baby Booties

Materials needed:

Baby yarn- I used Bernat Baby Jacquards in color Blue/Green

Size G hook (Sorry I didn’t measure for gauge.)

2- 1/2 inch buttons

Not exactly sure on the color since I don’t have the label anymore. But the long stripe in the yarn was just right to make one bootie of each color before the next strip came up.

Right Bootie:

Finishing

Turn booties inside out and use tail to sew up bottoms. Sew ends away. Turn booties back right side out and sew on buttons.

That should be it! If you find mistake let me know.
